30 Poems for Artists: Alex Crow

Live Art, Yleinen

In the inspiring artist residency of Ponderosa, Germany, in autumn 2014, I wrote one poem for each fellow artist, curator and worker at the residency. The poems were then performed at a Poet’s Reception on 2nd October 2014.

Alex Crow is a dancer from SF, the United States, and she breathes her way through the world with a very sensitive connection to her body.

Poem nr 5.

I left your party with a scrunted face

and you may wonder why

But my heart was simply just misplaced

and I did start to cry

when you sang that song the funeral “so long”

That’s when my tears fell down.
