30 Poems for Artists: Marina Fernandez de Haro

Live Art, Poetry, Yleinen

In the inspiring artist residency of Ponderosa, Germany, I wrote one poem for each fellow artist, curator and worker at the residency. The poems were then performed at a Poet’s Reception on 2nd October 2014.

Marina was a Spanish rose; an easy-going person with an aura of sensitivity and perception around her. I was moved by one of her dance videos, Memory Soul. It showed her dancing on a curving street with no view on the possibly upcoming cars, with a nature view around the scene. Her movement emphasized the flow and beauty of contemporary dance. Oh… and she appeared to be a special chef as well. I mean, she can really cook good vegetarian food!
Marina is a co-organizer of In Touch Barcelona since 2013.

You dance like water

you walk like that, too

Is it possible to be that delicate?

Is it the chef that we’re looking at

or a lady with a mystic smile?
